Bihar Police Recruitment for 689 Constable Posts

This time recruitment has been taken for 689 Prohibition Constable posts. On Saturday, the Central Selection Board (Sepoy Recruitment) issued an advertisement in this regard.

According to Sarkari Results, Bihar's Central Selection Board (CSBC) (Sepoy Recruitment) has once again recruited for the posts of Prohibition Constable (csbc Bihar police excise constable vacancy) in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department. This time recruitment has been taken for 689 Prohibition Constable posts. On Saturday, the Central Selection Board (Sepoy Recruitment) issued advertisement number 02/2022 in this regard.

The direct appointment will be made to the post of Prohibition Constable in the pay scale level-3 and pay of 21,700 to 53,000. The online process of appointment will start on November 14, 2022 and the last date to apply online has been fixed as December 14, 2022. In this regard www. Eligibility for application for appointment to the post of Prohibition Soldier:

It is mandatory to be an Indian citizen. Male, female and third gender can apply.

Educational Qualification of the candidates:- Passed Intermediate (10+2) as on 01/01/2022 or Maulvi Certificate issued by Madrasa Board of Bihar State Government or Shastri (including English) or Acharya (English) issued by Sanskrit Board of Bihar State. (without) certificate or by the State Government

Recognized other equivalent educational qualification.

The age of the candidates will be as per "Matriculation or equivalent certificate" as on date- 01/01/202:

  1. Minimum age of 18 (Eighteen) years and maximum age of 25 (Twenty-five) years for men and women of general (unreserved) category.
  2. Minimum age of 18 (Eighteen) years and maximum age of 27 (Twenty-seven) years for men of Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes category.
  3. Minimum age of 18 (eighteen) years and maximum age of 28 (twenty eight) years for women belonging to Backward Classes, Extremely Backward Classes category.
  4. Minimum age of 18 (Eighteen) years and maximum age of 30 (Thirty) years for men and women of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category and third gender candidates.
  5. There will be a relaxation of 05 years in the upper age limit for appearing in the competitive examinations to the government servants of Bihar who have completed a minimum period of three years in regular service to go to the service/cadre of the higher pay scale.
  6. Ex-servicemen for appointment to civilian posts will be given relaxation in the upper age limit of 03 years and equivalent to the sum of the period of service spent in Defense Service provided their actual age does not exceed 57 years as on the cut-off date.
  7. The age of the candidate will be calculated based on the date of birth mentioned in the certificate of Matriculation or equivalent examination.

Physical Standard of the candidates – No marks will be given for height, chest, and weight.

(1) For Unreserved and Backward class males – Minimum 165 cms.

(2) For extremely backward class males - minimum 160 cms.

(b) Chest (only for men)-

(1) For unreserved (general) / backward class men-

 Unexpanded - 81 cm (Min)

 Expanded - 86 cms (minimum)

(It will be mandatory to have a difference of at least 5 cms in the chest measurement after inflation).

(2) For the men belonging to the Extremely Backward Classes-

 Unexpanded - 81 cm (Min)

 Expanded - 86 cms (minimum)

(It will be mandatory to have a difference of at least 5 cms in the chest measurement after inflation).

 (3) For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe men -

 Unexpanded - 79 cms (minimum)

 Expanded - 84 cm (minimum)

(It will be mandatory to have a difference of at least 5 cms in the chest measurement after inflation).

(4) There will be no measurement of the chest for women.

 (c) Weight - The minimum weight for female candidates of all categories is 48 kgs.

(d) The physical standards and physical efficiency test standards for Kinnar/Kothi/Hijra/Transgender (third gender) candidates will be the same as for women candidates belonging to backward classes.

Recruitment process

  • First Phase - 'Written Examination' - (u) After the collection of applications, the applications will be scrutinized and a written examination will be organized for the candidates whose applications are found correct. The level of the written test will be that of the 10th class of the Bihar School Examination Board or its equivalent level. The written test will be of 100 marks. Question Paper- A question paper of two hours duration will consist of 100 objective-type questions in which one (01) mark will be given for each correct answer.
